(English follows) 2017年9月1日（金）〜9月10日（日）の10日間（内、ライド実施日は8日間）で、東京・日本橋から東北を縦断して本州最北端の青森・大間崎までの約1,100kmを走破する「TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017」を開催、無事に終了いたしました。
総走行距離1,117km、総獲得標高13,469mにおよぶ、”Self Guided & Fully Supported”のチャレンジライドです。
“TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017”, a 10 days tour Riding north from Tokyo across the Tohoku area to the northernmost part of Japan’s main island of ‘Honshu’

同ツアーでの８日間（8ステージ）にわたるライドのレポートを写真をまじえて簡単にまとめました。まもなく、2018年のツアーの告知もいたしますので、まずは来年のためのご参考に。
This is a report of 8 stages in “TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017” with photos of impressive scenes in the tour.

Stage1 日本橋ー那須 Nihonbashi,TokyoーNasu,Tochigi
スタートは雨の日本橋から。この日は東京中心部から江戸川サイクリングロードを経て、東北への玄関口、栃木県の那須へ！
那須では、サイクリストウェルカムで瀟洒なホテルに泊まり、フレンチフルコース！

TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017 has started from rainy Nihonbashi, Tokyo!! On the first day, we cycled in the center of Tokyo, rode along Edogawa cycling road and goal at Nasu, the entrance to Tohoku area. The accommodation in Nasu was an elegant “cyclist welcome” hotel with French full course dinner.

Stage2 那須ー会津東山温泉 Nasu,TochigiーAizu-Higashiyama-Onsen,Fukushima
トランス東北バイクツアー 第２ステージは、那須から羽鳥湖を経て会津へ！昨日と打って変わった最高の天気と最高の景色！
ライド後は、会津の有形文化財登録された老舗温泉旅館で日本文化を感じる夜を満喫。

TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017. The 2nd stage started from a lovely gorgeous hotel in Nasu! Cycled in beautiful scenery of Nasu and Aizu.
After ride, we stayed at a famous onsen ryokan with national registrered historical architecture in Aizu and had a night in Japanese traditional style.

Stage3 会津若松 – 飯坂温泉 Aizu-Wakamatsu,FukushimaーIizaka-Onsen,Fukushima
第3ステージは、会津市街から浄土平へ登り、壮大な絶景を楽しみながら飯坂温泉へ。桃の直売所で地元農家さんと触れ合いながら、絶品の桃と梨をいただくのも、海外からの参加者には貴重な体験となったようです。
自転車を館内持ち込み可能なサイクリストウェルカムな温泉旅館が、私たちをあたたかくもてなしてくれました。

The 3rd stage was a big mountain day! Cycled in Aizu town and climbed up to Jododaira whilst enjoying magnificent scenery and tasting famous Fukushima Peach!
The “cyclist welcome” onsen ryokan gave us a warm hospitality.

Stage4 飯坂温泉 – 銀山温泉 Iizaka-Onsen,FukushimaーGinzan-Onsen,Yamagata
第4ステージは、飯坂温泉から静寂の摺上川ダムを経て、福島・宮城・山形の県境の峠へ。ダイナミックなダウンヒルを楽しんだ後は、そば畑の間を抜けて、隠れ家的なこだわりの蕎麦屋でランチ。山形・天童の街を抜けてワイルドな峠道を越えると、山奥の別世界、大正ロマン漂う銀山温泉へ投宿。今日も濃密なライド＆グルメ三昧の1日でした。

The 4th stage of “TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017” rode into more and more deep Tohoku. Started from Iizaka-onsen, passing quiet beautiful dam lake and climbing some hills, enjoyed dynamic downhill to Yamagata. Smelled the scent of soba flowers and enjoyed really tasty soba as the lunch. Passed through Yamagata City and Tendo City arriving at the nostalgic wooden Japanese inns that line Ginzan Onsen.

Stage5 銀山温泉 – 由利本荘 Ginzan-Onsen,YamagataーYurihonjo,Akita
第5ステージは、雨の銀山温泉から、最上川沿いに下って日本海へ。薄霧に煙る水田地帯、芭蕉の名句が残された最上川、そして、海の幸三昧のランチ。雨が招いた午前中のトラブルもクリアし、午後は日本海沿いに北上して、秋田県は由利本荘でゴール。
地元の寿司屋で思いがけない国際交流も楽しみ、またもや濃密な1日でした。

The 5th stage of “TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017” started from rainy Ginzan Onsen. Enjoyed a downhill ride along the Mogami river towards the Sea of Japan where a lovely view of Mt. Chokai awaits. Cycle north alongside the sea of Japan to Akita Prefecture and experience a typical night in a local Tohoku town in Yurihonjo.

Stage6 由利本荘 – 乳頭温泉 Yurihonjo,AkitaーNyuto-Onsen,Akita
トランス東北バイクツアー 第6ステージは、秋田の由利本荘からのどかな山間の稲作地帯を経て、武家屋敷が並ぶ角館で比内鶏＆稲庭うどんのランチ。さらに走って美しく青い水をたたえる田沢湖へ。そして最後に、秋田が誇る秘湯中の秘湯、乳頭温泉の鶴の湯までの厳しいヒルクライムでゴール！
長く厳しいライドの後で、鶴の湯温泉の白濁硫黄露天風呂に山里料理は本当にスペシャルな体験！

The 6th stage of “TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017” started from Yurihonjo, Akita. Enjoyed the peaceful scenery full of rice paddies, beautiful samurai houses in Kakunodate and delicious local foods like Hinai chicken and Inaniwa udon. After cycled half around Tazawa lake, climbed to one of Japan’s top hidden hot springs, Nyuto Onsen.
After tough hill climb, the milky & mellow onsen and traditional warm dishes of Tsurunoyu was the ultimate luxury for riders.

Stage7 乳頭温泉 – 奥入瀬 Nyuto-Onsen,AkitaーOirase,Aomori
第7ステージは、ハイライトステージにふさわしい大快晴。秋田の乳頭温泉から、八幡平の峠を越え、続いて十和田湖へ登ってパノラマビューを満喫。そしてあふれんばかりの清流と苔と岩と滝を間近に見ながらの奥入瀬渓流ライドで、最高のゴール。
星野リゾート 奥入瀬渓流ホテルに投宿です。

The 7th stage, the highlight of “TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017” started from Nyuto Onsen, Akita. Cross the mountain pass alongside Hachimantai and make the climb to beautiful Lake Towada.
Travel the lakeside to Aomori Prefecture and along the picturesque Oirase mountain streams ending the day`s ride in Hoshino Resort Oirase Keiryu Hotel.

ついに、本州最北端の大間崎へゴール！
トランス東北バイクツアー 最後の第8ステージは、快晴の下、星野リゾート 奥入瀬渓流ホテルからスタート。いくつものアップダウンを繰り返す広大な丘陵地帯を抜け、陸奥湾沿いに下北半島を北へ北へ。ホタテを始めとした陸奥湾の海の幸を堪能したら、太平洋側の北岸を、向かい風にも負けず疾走。美しい夕陽に染まる津軽海峡を目の前に、マグロで有名な大間にゴール！
全員で無事にトランス東北バイクツアーを完走しました！
完走証を受け取った後は、もう来年のツアーの話題も！！？

Finally, we arrived Cape Oma, the northern-most point of Japan’s largest island of Honshu!
The 8th, final stage of “TRANS-TOHOKU Bike Tour 2017” started from Hoshino Resort Oirase Keiryu Hotel under a clear sky. Enjoyed a pleasant ride along a wide area of rolling farm roads to the beginning of the Shimokita Peninsula. Travel north alongside Mutsu Bay and even further along the northern coastline of the peninsula, reaching Cape Oma. And finally, the brave cyclists arrived the… goal of 1,100km long ride from Tokyo!!
